For Health Education Year 9 we have been learning about the four dimensions of "Hauora:"
- Physical Wellbeing,
- Mental Wellbeing,
- Social Wellbeing,
- And Spiritual Wellbeing.
For revision on the usbject of Hauora, we had to create a "Whare Tapa Wha," which is a house that has four walls and a roof. Each wall represents a dimension of hauora, and it symbolises the human body, as if one wall collapsed, or one dimension was not balanced, the house would topple. For the roof, we were instructed to write the definition of "Te Whare Tapa Wha."
