Free Narrative Writing

2132, Hawaii.
The battle between the USCPF and the CDF was worsening.
The PRT was threatening to intervene, but ultimately backed off after the bombs were
dropped. Hawaii is a desolate wasteland, only inhabited by scavengers and military.
Few global safe zones exist, the most popular being Cranetown. Cranetown was a small
village built up in the middle of a city, it’s big concrete walls hiding it away from everyday
onlookers, and the USCPF. Gunshots were commonplace in Cranetown, and dead bodies
were found every week. Cranetown wasn’t a nice place, but it’s the best we have.

I strolled into Cranetown, my collar hiding my face from onlookers.
The CDF hung around the walls, looking out for sandsharks. There were large, rusted
buildings made from bits of corrugated steel and sheet metal. I kept my Colt .45 caliber
strapped to the inside of my trench coat. Concealed, though easy to grab out in times of
need. I looked down alleys, spotting different petty crimes. Muggings, drug dealings,
various Sandsharks gaining territory in Cranetown. I almost couldn’t notice the giant man
with the red-stained iron pole in front of me.

3. Everybody in a group has different skills and it's essential to utilize people's strengths and minimise people's weaknesses.

The satisfaction of when our supplies came in and everything started to come together.
  • What are the things that you didn’t enjoy about this Kete?

Our New Kete: B&E

Our new Kete is Business & Enterprise, which is the Hornby High equivalent of a Market Day.

The B&E kete focuses around creating and selling a project for an upcoming market day.
You create a business plan and then send it off to be approved.
This business plan includes your project, a letter pitch, and a shopping list that all need to be approved in order to be given a budget.
So far we have hung up posters, set up a banner, and got our letter approved.
There is still work to do and lessening time to do it in.
I hope all goes well.

Little Red Hallensteins Hoodie

Little Red Hallensteins Hoodie
Once upon a time there was a boy named Shanix. Everytime Shanix went out he wore a big red Hallensteins hoodie. Because of this, everyone called him Little Red Hallensteins Hoodie. Word got out in Shanix’s village that Robbie’s dad works at the Coca Cola Company, and has the new flavours of Powerade. So everyone in the village helped pack Shanix a nice lunch basket to trade with Robbie for the Powerade. And so Shanix set off, following the path into the forest.

A quarter of the track had passed, and so had a quarter of an hour. Shanix’s stomach was rumbling, but he knew he couldn’t eat from the basket. That would be naughty. So Shanix decided to take out his iPhone XS+ with a terabyte of extendable storage and used up all his data to look at Google Maps to find a place to catch a feed. He found a nearby dairy, but to get there you had to go off the pathway, and Shanix couldn’t do that. That was dangerous. Shanix’s mind said no, but Shanix’s hungry stomach overpowered his mind and so Shanix went off the path to the dairy to catch a couple mince pies. Little did he know, danger lurked.

“Man! Those were tasty! Thanks!” Yelled Shanix to the dairy owner, before walking back, making his way back to the path. Suddenly, a big hairy wolf jumped out of the bush. “Grrrr! Who are you!?” Yelled the big hairy wolf. “My name’s Shanix, who are you?” Shanix replied, his big red hoodie flowing in the wind. “Grrr! I’m the big bad wolf!” The wolf growled at Shanix. “Where are you off to, boy?” “I’m going to Robbie’s house, he has the new flavour of Powerade!” The wolf licked it’s lips, suddenly excited. “Wait here, I’ll give you some. No need to eat me.” The wolf nodded, saying “I’ll wait here then.” Shanix gave a thumbs-up, before strutting down to Robbie’s Rolleston Mansion.

Robbie’s mansion of a house was 4 stories tall, and was 7km2 in area. “Man this place is awesome.” Shanix said, walking up to the doorbell. Shanix knocked, loudly, 5 times. The door was opened,a blonde boy laid on the other side, wearing red Nike shoes and a Manchester United shirt. “My name’s Robbie, who are you?” He said. “I’m Shanix, and I have here a basket of lunch to trade with you for the new flavours of Powerade.” Shanix revealed the basket from behind his back, showing Robbie. “Oh my!” Robbie exclaimed. “I’ll go and grab you a crate!” Robbie jogged away, his stomach rumbling. A moment passed and finally Robbie appeared, dropping a crate at Robbie’s feet. “Don’t drink it all at once!” Robbie waved, shutting the door. Shanix huffed, before beginning the journey home.

Shanix stopped off halfway through the forest, and handed a bottle of Powerade Ion 4 and a half to the wolf. Shanix got back to his village safely, and they all hogged the Powerade at once.
And they all lived happily ever after.

The End.
