Today for English we were to silently read a book for 20 minutes, then summarising it into it's main points.
I decided to read Skulduggery Pleasant: Resurrection.
Upon reading this book, you will be exposed to:
- Mentally torn protagonists, questioning the morality of their quest.
- An elaborate, though easy to grasp plot.
- An abstract, though effective writing style, which uses
- Jokes in, and out of dialog to ease tension in certain moments.
I highly reccomend the Skulduggery Pleasant series, and Derek Landy is a great author.
