Mirror, Mirror

Mirror, Mirror
The alarm blares and I heave myself out of my bed,
Down through the hallway, and straight to the bathroom.
I looked in the mirror. Impending doom,
For this is what it said:

“Face like a pig,
Your bed-hair’s all frizzy.
Your nose is so big,
It's making me dizzy.
‘Mirror Mirror, who’s the ugliest of them all?’
The boy in front of me who never fails to appall.
Teeth all out of place, what a disgrace.
Have you ever washed your face?
Bright red, your acne.
Your pants, all baggy,
How tacky.

Maybe you should just stay at home.”
